Konrad Cage is an entirely self-taught producer and songwriter, who began with deconstructing and remixing his favorite songs in middle school. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, much of his early catalogue was built entirely inside Soundtrap, where limitations in workflow and tooling pushed him toward unconventional sound design, arrangement, and mixing decisions.

Now at 22, he has built a small catalogue of singles, tapping into different feelings of nostalgia with his production. Developed entirely by ear over nearly a decade of quiet obsession.

Outside of music, Cage previously worked in entertainment and gaming journalism, a background that continues to shape his music project’s visual language and tone.
